As PHP Developer, I create landing pages working with Tailwind CSS, PHP and JavaScript. I translate Figma designs into mobile first WordPress pages. I use ACF and PHP to create administrator page logic to make editing more user friendly for non developers. All development is version controlled with Git using Visual Studio Code, GitHub and CLI. Run and maintain regular backups of WordPress sites and MySQL databases, using defense software for monitoring. Utilizing the command line for installing packages with NPM, Yarn and Composer.

What started off as a skill builder project in Unity and C# became a launched app on the App Store and Google Play. Aside from Unity, I also learned other various software including Xcode, Firebase and Android Studio. With Unity and my proficiency in C#, I was able to leverage Unity’s robust framework to design and develop WordTourney, focusing on seamless gameplay and interactivity. Using C# to implement complex systems, ensuring code efficiency, modularity and scalability.

At JDRF I started off as a Front-end / Back-end web developer working on different types of projects from small scale sites that utilized HTM, CSS and JavaScript to larger scale sites that utilized PHP and MySQL. I’ve also worked on proprietary projects using C# and ASP.Net. I’ve led projects from start to completion as project manager. Ultimately, I became Sr. Sytems Analyst, becoming the SME across JDRF systems; helping to launch the non-profit on Salesforce NPSP; and becoming part of the cloud data management team – working with SQL, Postgre SQL and Informatica.

At DiversityInc I started off managing and developing their existing ColdFusion CMS. I didn’t know ColdFusion but with having a background in object-oriented programming and a love for coding I was able to pick it up within days to make immediate changes. I was a part of team to move off of ColdFusion CMS — helping create scripts to move data. Other web work included being responsible for producing online promotions, banners, landing pages, micro-sites and newsletters. Aside from web work I was also responsible for producing video footage, editing and making it web ready.
